Who we are
Aurum is a financial management platform operated by Aurum Technologies Ltd., a company registered in Delaware, USA. When these terms refer to "Aurum", "we", "our", or "us", they mean Aurum Technologies Ltd. and any subsidiaries operating under the Aurum brand.

Your account
To use Aurum, you must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to enter into a binding agreement in your country of residence. By creating an account, you confirm that both are true.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at security@aurum.com.
One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits or promotional offers is a violation of these terms and may result in permanent suspension.

Acceptable use
Aurum is built for personal financial management. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in ways that don't infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the platform.
You must not use Aurum to conduct, facilitate, or disguise fraudulent transactions, money laundering, or any activity that violates applicable financial regulations. We monitor for this and will act on it — including reporting to relevant authorities where required by law.

Payments & billing
Paid plans are billed in advance — monthly or annually, depending on what you selected at signup. All prices are shown in USD and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
If your payment fails, we'll notify you and give you a grace period to update your payment method before your account is downgraded. We don't charge late fees — but we also can't hold a paid plan open indefinitely without payment.

Your data
Your financial data belongs to you. We use it to power your Aurum experience — nothing else. We don't sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to train third-party models without your explicit consent.
You can export or delete your data at any time from your account settings. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. For the full picture of how we handle your data, read our Privacy Policy.

Our liability
We work hard to keep Aurum available, accurate, and reliable. But we can't guarantee uninterrupted service and we're not liable for losses that result from circumstances outside our reasonable control — including third-party outages, network failures, or force majeure events.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Aurum will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Termination
You can close your account at any time from your account settings — no forms, no waiting period, no questions. If you're on a paid plan, you'll retain access until the end of your current billing cycle.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation. Where possible, we'll warn you first.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Changes take effect 14 days after notification — giving you time to review them and, if you disagree, close your account before they apply.
Continuing to use Aurum after that period means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association — unless you opt out within 30 days of creating your account by writing to legal@aurum.com.
